Voglia di VINTAGE.. - Are you longing for VINTAGE?

Con la parola vintage cosa vi viene in mente? Per tutti quelli che hanno voglia di far rivivere oggetti vecchi e usati ma che sono ancora di moda e bellissimi...
Adesso come non mai si vedono spesso abiti e oggettistica vintage tornare alla ribalta,e come nella moda così anche nei matrimoni.
Molti si ispirano a matrimoni passati con abiti già indossati e/o tramandati, con apparecchiature molto particolari adornate da centrini cabochon  tovaglie ricamate e porcellane decorate.
What does the word vintage bring to your mind? For those who want make old and used things - but always beautiful and fashionable as well - back again ...
Now, like ever before, we can often see vintage clothing and items make a comeback, as into fahion as in weddings too.
Many people get inspiration from past weddings, with second-hand and/or handed down clothes, unique table settings adorned with doilys cabochon hand-embroidered tablecloths and decorated porcelain.

Quando parliamo di abiti vintage, intediamo gli abiti che venivano cuciti e indossati più di vent'anni fa.
But now let's talk about the women's most liked part....THE WEDDING DRESS....
When we talk about vintage clothes, we mean all those ones that people sewn and worn more than twenty years ago.

Dopo gli anni di privazioni e paure della guerra, gli anni ’20 si aprono come una nuova epoca di benessere e ottimismo. La societa’ e’ pervasa da un nuovo senso di liberta’ e speranza che portera’ a chiamare questo decennio gli anni ruggenti.
 Gli abiti sono più semplici, pensati soprattutto per lasciare maggior liberta’ nei movimenti: le linee sono dritte, i tessuti morbidi, la vita bassa, le gonne sempre piu’ corte. L'abito da sposa in questi anni si fa più corto e il velo diventa più lungo...e non c'è dubbio...questo è il tocco di Coco Chanel, icona del nuovo stile femminile. 
After a few years of privations and fear because of the war, the 20's start like a new time of wellbeing and optimism. People are filled with a new sense of freedom and hope which will bring this decade to be called "the stormy years".
Simple style for the clothes, thought mostly to leave larger freedom in the movements : straight lines, soft materials, short waist and skirts more and more.
The wedding dress in this years become as shorter as the veil become longer..and there's no doubt ...this is the touch of Coco Chanel, icon of the new female style.
